Design Process
I designed low-fidelity wireframes for onboarding, educational content, the vaccine timeline, and account settings. Usability testing with parents in Brazil and Belgium informed iterations and validated our approach.

User Research
While I didn’t conduct the research, interviews and usability tests with Brazilian users highlighted the need for localization, accessibility, and cultural relevance. I worked with the team to adapt the interface for Portuguese speakers, ensuring clarity, accurate translation, and cultural appropriateness in the prototypes.

The app’s success led to a second phase, integrating it into the Baby+ App as part of a rebranding project I also contributed to, expanding its reach and functionality.
Final Thoughts
This project is a favorite of mine due to its meaningful impact on parents, simplifying vaccine tracking and reducing the hassle of paper records. Working in a close-knit design team allowed for rapid feedback, effective collaboration, and the opportunity to present design decisions to the client with creative freedom. With more time and budget, I would have liked to expand usability testing to observe users firsthand and further refine the experience, and I look forward to seeing the project grow into a native app.
